Richard has been involved in the drilling industry since 1995. Starting in the manufacture of drilling equipment at Drillstar Engineering, moving on to workshop supervision. This lead to involvement with drillers, drilling contractors and mining companies. He then became workshop manager at Drillstar which enabled him to gain advanced product and drilling knowledge.After 18 years at Drillstar in 2013 Richard took on the role as General Manager at Feaver Tools during this time he has been able to advance his skills in engineering and the design of drilling equipment.In 2017 he realised that there was a lack of training for the equipment he had been making for the last 25 years.With his Drilling industry connections and drilling product skills, Richard has been able to develop Specialised Resource Training.
Leonie Mallet
Executive Administrator
Leonie has many years experience in Administration including seven years with South Metropolitan TAFE in customer services and course information. With family members in the drilling industry for many years, Leonie has seen the frustration of Drilling companies with existing training programs for new employees.
With her background and experience in TAFE administration she has been able to convert her skills into practical and useful training for the drilling industry.
Lawrence Dunstall

Lawrence is a professional and independent drill consumable trainer and consultant with nearly 30 years of experience for some of the largest drilling, and drilling supply companies in the world. He has a very keen interest in drill consumables their manufacture, metallurgy design and more importantly their use. He strongly believes that by sharing the information we can be safer, smarter uses of drill consumables. 'I believe that by being honest and accountable we can share the correct and safest use of all types of drilling methodology and products. Its about getting the most of your drills, your rig, and keeping your people SAFE. And safety starts with us.
